Seven weeks after she was bitten on the face by a dog during a live segment, the anchor at NBC’s …local affiliate returned to work on Monday. Kyle Dyer was back at 9NEWS on KUSA after having two surgeries to repair her face when an 85-pound Argentine mastiff nearly severed her lips when biting her in a segment on Feb. 8. After having her upper lip repaired, Dyer is back in her old spot and was warmly welcomed back by her fellow anchors on Monday. “I’m so grateful for everybody being so kind,’’ Dyer said on the broadcast. “Everyone has been so nice to me and my family when we’re out and about I thank God.’’ Dyer’s return to the air included well wishes from fans on the street as well as her fellow anchors. Dyer said she has heard from well-wishers all over the world, including many people who also were bitten by dogs
